Research For Commercial

 My group is doing an advertisement on RedBull. RedBull is an energy drink that is very popular, it provides consumers with lots of energy to get ready for their day. In commercials the audience typically sees involvement with sports involving beautiful backgrounds and crazy stunts being performed. This emphasizes how RedBull gives you energy. 

-In the RedBull commercials the actors are typically professional players for extreme sports. Some sports includes are skiing on huge slopes, swimming in a strong flowed river, jumping out of helicopters, playing basketball, diving, etc. 

-Actors are wearing professional gear, on some of this gear the actors have the RedBull symbol on the side emphasizing the brand. 

-The crazy stunts correlate with the brands motto, "RedBull gives you wings". RedBull is meant to provide lots of energy, to convince consumers to buy their products they set unrealistic standards such as professional athletes doing crazy stunts to convince them that they do these stunts due o the energy from RedBull. 

-The audio in the back of RedBulls commercial is loud, and inspirational. The inspirational music adds drama and feeling towards the commercial. 

Conventions and codes with RedBull include two bulls going head to head. The colors incorporated encourage people more to buy the product due to the fact that the colors are easy to spot since they are bright and noticeable, and the colors coordinate with certain emotions you feel. When consumers see blue it could correlate as thirst because water is blue, and when consumers see yellow, hunger comes in. 

The slogan for RedBull is, "RedBull gives you wings". People question how this encourages consumers to buy into the product but the truth is, consumers want energy to make it through the day. When costumers think of being given wings, the ideal emotion corresponsive with this is feeling free, unstoppable, and stress free. 

The RedBull commercials use emotional techniques to make customers buy their product. From the music effects to the special editing, to the crazy stunts, customers will feel unaccomplished and will want to buy RedBull convinced it would provide them with energy to reach the same accomplishments these professionals have.
