Story board Blog!

First Scene: The first scene will be an opening of a flashback of the couple at the beach having fun, there will be jump-cut transitions between these shots, however the shots will be filmed at the beach in the same day just with different angles and ideas on what the couple is doing to make the scene more interesting.

Second Scene: The female lead is crying in bed reminiscing on the memories of the couple together, the scene matches along with the music and we wanted to include a difference of both sides of the heartbreak where everything was all perfect ad where it faded into a heartbreak. The scene will be shot at a high angle facing lower so that the actress seems fragile and upset.

Third scene: This scene will be a high angle shot down onto two phones, the couple will be texting each other the lyrics of the song that correspond.

Fourth scene: In the fourth scene we will attempt to make a split screen edit to see what happened on both sides of the breakup at the same time, the angle will be held at eye level and the shot will be taken further from the actors so there is a view of the completely different surroundings between the two.

Fifth scene: The fifth scene involves the girl coping with her breakup, this particular scene is her going to the gym to distract herself by using the harder machines and blocking everything out. We plan to shoot one or two shots in the gym to use. The angle will be an eye level angle and will be shot from a few feet away.

Sixth Scene: The sixth scene will be multiple shots of the couple together, examples of this would be the couple cuddling, or doing homework together, or even going out to eat. These angles will be held at an eye level with a medium shot. This scene will represent the old memories shared between the couple and the hurt from loosing them and not having them by your side.

Seventh Scene: In this scene, the scene is of the girl lead getting blocked and finding ways to call him. The phone shot is a shot down onto a phone from a high angle showing the girl being blocked off the males phone, and the shot of the girl finding ways to call him will be shot from either a high angle or eye level.

Eighth Scene: The eighth scene will be an eye level scene shot from outside of the car into the inside where the couple argues about their relationship. This correlates to the music video because it brings out the good and bad parts of the relationship.

Ninth Scene: The ninth scene will be a shot of the couple hugging in an area or standing together and then the scene will be reshot without the male lead so it gives the presentation of disappearance or loneliness. The scene will be shot as a wide shot and the camera will be moving and towards the middle the male lead will disappear from the shot.

Tenth scene: This scene will include the couple dancing on a rooftop together, having a blast together and making those memories together. This scene will completely make up the other perspectives that were good in the relationship. The scene will be shot as a wide angle still shot.

Eleventh scene: The eleventh scene will be a tracking shot of the couple texting each other saying they miss one another. This correlates perfectly to fit a happier ending into the music video.

Twelfth Scene: This last scene will include the couple coming together into a large embrace expressing their want and longing for one another as the time went by. This will be a low angle shot to express the emotions.
