Genre Research Decision

 My partner in this project and I have come to a decision on what genre we would like to use for our film. We are choosing action! We chose action for many reasons with a couple being, we thought we could incorporate more detail in the two minute video, creating suspense, and really getting the viewers attention. I know what your thinking, you could do this with most genres, but action will be the most efficient for this film. The other genre we were going to attempt was horror/thriller. We decided to not do this as we feel that tons of other people will do this genre. We want to stand out in our film not be the same as others. During filming we are going to make sure to incorporate the angles we found were most common for action movies during our research. We found that these angles will fit very well in filming. Another reason behind our choice in action is that again, is a really good attention grabber where we can use a plot to want the viewers to be entertained. The goal is for people to want to see the rest of this film. We are hoping to film with our peers because the more people the better, it will be more realistic. In most research about action movies we found that there is so many people that go into making these movies. So we want to have a lot of background people like the real movies do. When we begin to film on a beach, we can accomplish this easy as the beaches are always packed. Well, we are very excited to start this action packed film! All the elements we get to add in this will be the most professional project yet. The fact we get to make an intro to an action movie is so exciting to both Ella and myself.
