Title Design Websites

 We began to research opening title sequences and title designs. We chose two websites to research:

https://www.watchthetitles.com

In the first website Art of the Title, there were many opening sequences. We researched the sequences that surrounded action movies to see what would best fit our genre. We researched this website because there were many different options of sequences that could perfectly fit with our movie scenes. The title sequence is a powerful way to express motion graphics. It sets the scene for the film. In movies, TV shows, or Web animation, they engage the audience by hinting at what is approaching. A title sequence's primary function is to set the mood for the movie you are about to watch. In Art of The Title, we found many different opening sequences to perfectly fit our movie. One sequence in particular was the opening title of Godfather of Harlem, the title sequence was perfect and there was amazing editing that made it particularly unique. What we were looking for in a title sequence was something that shows our audience that the movie will be full of suspense and drama, this includes dramatic music, darker lighting, and slower shots. 

In the second website Watch the Titles, we found a lot less interest in the website. There was a lot more than Art of The Titles, however it was the opposite of what we were looking for. The options on title sequences and opening scenes were very limited on this website. One thing that was very useful to us on this site was the student projects title sequences. This part of the website gave us a deeper look into other students projects and how they accomplished making a title sequence beginning scene. One sequence that was intriguing in particular was Sirens of Titan. This was a sequence made by students, there was a lot of editing, lots of dark scenery and colors for the background, and suspenseful background sounds/music. We learned from this website how a title sequence is an inside view on what the movie will bring to the viewers. In this case, we need to take our filming and our editing of the title sequence very carefully to make sure it puts off the perfect impression on our viewers.

Close to the Finish Line

 It's practically that time! Ella and I are so eager to say that we are nearly finished with our film venture! We ran into certain issues on the way with every last bit of it. Despite the fact that we actually pushed through and finished the altering. We definitely disapproved of adding the music and audio effects. Sadly they were not connecting as expected to the film. We attempted numerous choices to inspire it to work and every one of them fizzled. We then, at that point, started to overreact a smidgen. We looked into certain recordings on youtube to help out us. We at long last observed one that was useful. We continued back to altering and it at last worked! Sadly that wasn't all. Then a few clasps vanished while altering too. Group Final Task Blog

 Hello! Finally there is a new project! This calls for new people, new ideas, and new opportunities. For my final task project I will be working with Ella Wills from my first project. At the beginning of the week as we became introduced with the project itself, we had a group of four set up with two of our friends, we then decided it would be better to work alone because it is much more convenient and practical. The concept of working on huge projects with friends can be difficult because you don't want to work with strangers but also don't want to be distracted by your friends. Even through this could possibly be a future issue or worry, Ella and I work amazingly together. We have known one another since we were toddlers and we grew up in close proximity to one another with similar job schedules, school schedules, etc. This project will be easy for us because we are very hard workers and we can 100% accomplish what is thrown at us. Title Research: Suicide Squad

 The last movie that we decided to research was the very well known movie Suicide Squad. This movie was a huge movie in 2016 and was loved by everyone all around the world. The closing title sequence contained  how a movie or television show presents its title, key production elements, and cast members using visuals and sound. They included the director, the actors, screenplay maker, screen story maker, the producers, editors, and other important figures in the making of the movie. This is important because it gives acknowledgement to the people who contributed big parts into making the movie. The images produced in the title sequence for this movie were many shots zooming back into different scenes and important places.
