Title Research: Suicide Squad

The last movie that we decided to research was the very well known movie Suicide Squad. This movie was a huge movie in 2016 and was loved by everyone all around the world. The closing title sequence contained how a movie or television show presents its title, key production elements, and cast members using visuals and sound. They included the director, the actors, screenplay maker, screen story maker, the producers, editors, and other important figures in the making of the movie. This is important because it gives acknowledgement to the people who contributed big parts into making the movie. The images produced in the title sequence for this movie were many shots zooming back into different scenes and important places. The title sequence is very colorful and is a zoom out through jail cells, guns, villains, skulls, weapons, etc. The title sequence is relevant to the movie because it has all things that are widely used in the movie. The sound for the title sequence is the song "Heathens" from the movie. The connotations these scenes portray are parts of the movie, it's like a recap going backwards in the end as a close to the movie. The title sequence as well as the movie provide a feeling of the action genre because as an action film, it gave viewers a feeling of excitement. People who watch movies are led astray by the hero's experiences of pain, joy, and excitement, and become united in their imagination with him. Its combination of engaging characters, thrilling set-pieces, and general sense of escapism makes action appeal to a broad range of audiences, thus making it enjoyable for everyone. In the movie, Amanda Waller, a top government official, recruits imprisoned supervillains to assist her in performing dangerous black ops missions to save the world from a powerful threat. The strategies used are the input of many different scenarios, characters, scenes, and fights that are going on. This continuously has the viewer at the edge of their seat wanting more. The film Suicide Squad was filmed entirely with IMAX- certified RED cameras. The price of renting one of these cameras is $16,000 per week. These cameras have very intricate detailing and since they are IMAX certified, this means that they are made to be produced for the showing in theaters. Suicide Squad was an amazing movie and a perfect example on a great action movie.
